Wiffle Ball at DLI

What's up, we'll be playing on tuesday, July 26th up at Hilltop at 1705. Look for us on the North side of the field. There may be a soccer game going on, and if there is, we'll probably just take it to a different place. Feel free to come out, all are welcome. dliwiffleball@hotmail.com if you have andy questions.

Tuesday, the 19th, The Cardinals, featuring the sporadic pitching of Mondo "The Pirate" Davis and the home run threat that is "Left-Eye" Larson, squeezed by the Notcubs with a 25-22 win. The Notcubs came on strong, pushing the game into the ninth inning. The usually dependable "Gold-Glove" Jackson struck out in the 8th with the bases loaded, then commited an error that allowed the winning run to score. Davis turned it on in the closer role, retiring the opposition while only allowing two runs. The MVP award was given to Left Eye, while VanGundy earned an honorable mention. Be sure to come out next Tuesday for the rematch. All are welcome and encouraged to come, it's fun and free. Peace.

Saturday, we held a home run derby up at hill top. SPC Nate "Gold Glove" Jackson walked away with the win, hitting 12 home runs. In second place was PFC Nathan "Left-Eye" Larson with 10, and third was awarded to SN Mondo "The Pirate" Davis with 7 dingers. The next game will be on Tuesday, July 19th at 1705 at Hilltop. Be sure to come out.
